Stippled Roses

 Hello peeps,

I have the Stampin' Up! Stippled Roses stamp and die set.  I haven't used it much because I had no idea what I was going to do with it.

One day, I sat down and decided to start coloring it, thinking I'd put it on a card.  There's one big set of roses and smaller roses to stamp with some leaves.  Here's what I did after coloring it using my Copics.

I could not figure how to layout the smaller roses on a card and the entire ordeal left me with no ideas to configure a card at all, so I put them all on one of my journal books.

I covered it with vinyl to protect the image.  It's actually very pretty to look at.  Maybe next time, I can put it on a card.

Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Painted Lavender

Hello everyone,

I am excited to finally get a chance to use the Painted Lavender stamp and die set from Stampin' Up!

I purchased the set awhile back but wanted to wait for spring to use them.  Check this out:

I tried to case a card from another demonstrator but mine did not come out the way hers did, so I made it work for me.  I used the Painted Lavender designer paper but the card stock came from my own stash.

The Painted Lavender bundle was very popular and it seemed everyone had purchased it so it was great seeing various types of projects made using the stamps, dies and paper bundle.

I kept mine simple and only added the gems that came with the bundle to give the card a bit of variety.

I also added a butterfly sticker from my stash to add interest since the cards are so plain.

I did use different colored cardstock to make floral dies that would be a subtle contrast to the designer series paper.

The sentiment came from my stash, something simple that I type in Microsoft Word.

I really enjoyed seeing the end result and who knows, one of these days, I'll start back doing videos.

Happy Stamping!

Matching Papers

 Hello everyone,

The one reason I joined Stampin' Up! was because of the matching colors that their card stock has with their ink pads.

I went on Pinterest and found a card that I was inspired to make using some of the components that person used.

I used True Red card stock and DSP (not sure of the title of these papers) that matched nicely with the red of the card stock.  I had some white ribbon from SU! but it did not look good, so used some gingham from the Dollar Tree.

The card looked boring, so I added some glittery bits and glued them to the center of the little flowers and added a cute ladybug, as well as a sentiment from one of my SU! sentiments I got in my kit when I joined.

Oh, Yeah...Valentine's Day!

 Hello lovelies,

I didn't forget about the day of hearts.  I did watch a lot of videos and was inspired by one of the many favorite Stampin' Up! demonstrators that post on YouTube.  Here is what I made:

These images are stamped and die cut from the collection, Jungle Pals.  I wanted to get the die set it came with but they were sold out.  Maybe I can get it when the Sale-a-bration catalog ends.

These images were found on Google.  Aren't they cute?

All of these went to my charity early in January due to being requested early on.  I hope it made someone happy.

Brrrr...It's Cold Outside...and Inside

Hello everyone,

It's like Antarctica up in this apartment...granted I've never traveled there but have read its history and anything that cold is home to penguins and such, not me.

I watched a video by a SU! Demonstrator and thought I'd try my hand at the postage stamps that were part of a bundle in the latest catalog.  I did not get the bundle because I had my own postage stamp dies.

Here are the supplies I used:

DSP: Winter Meadow, Flight & Airy, Softly Stippled and Sunny Days

Stamps: Wild Ferns and Go to Greetings

Stamp Pad: Mossy Meadow

I fussy cut one of the birds and used Jute from the Sale-a-bration catalog, I believe.

These cards will probably be sent to swap partners.

Happy New Year

Hello to a new year 2024!

I'm so excited to be a part of the Stampin' Up! family where I am able to be a hobbyist and move on up to be a Demonstrator if I wanted to.  In the meantime, I am able to take advantage of the discounts as well.  Let me know if you're interested and I'll be happy to help you get started.

Here are some cards I made for my charity which is in need of Valentine's Day cards:

I used the build-a-bee punch to make these cards.  I wish I had bought the bundle to get the papers that go with this little bee - they are so cute.

Happy crafting!

Fluffiest Friends

 Hello everyone,

As a hobbyist, I can get the discount that other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators get.  So, here's what I have done recently with stamps I ordered.

As soon as I saw the bear enjoying his honey, I knew I had to have it.  In fact, I added this lovely stamp to my starter kit.

I used my Copic markers to color two of the stamped images.  I will be purchasing Stampin' Up! markers soon, as they are alcohol based as well.

This is a fun diagonal fold that is easy to make.  I want to teach these simple kind of card making classes at two locations near me.

Stay tuned for more cards.

Happy Stamping!

December's Paper Pumpkin

 Hello peeps,

It's time to see another set of cards that I made from the December Paper Pumpkin kit.

I thought these little Christmas houses would be great if filled with some homemade cookies.  But I really didn't have anyone that I could share these with, so I made cards with the set.

Paper Pumpkin is a good idea for beginner card makers because all that you need is included in the kit (except adhesive).

Luckily, I was able to cut off the extra pieces and use the rest of the "house" for a total of 8 cards - how cool is that?

Stay tuned for more crafting fun.

The Penguin Punch

 Hello everyone,

I bought the penguin punch in my starter kit (it was on clearance) because I knew I could make some cute winter cards.

I used some other clip art (igloo, fish and little pond) to enhance a story about the penguins.  Also, there's a tag I'm going to send to my friend - she can use it to put on a special gift.

I have a few more little cuties left - wonder what I'll do with them...well, stay tuned and we'll see.

Happy Crafting.

Confetti Birthday Kit Cards

 Hello,

I want to share the cards I made using the Confetti Birthday kit that came with my starter kit.  Check these out:

All three cards had the supplies for making each one a shaker card but I added too much of the confetti in the ones I made that have the birthday cake on the front.  So I had to improvise.

I think they still came out wonderfully.

I have more to share, so stay tuned.

Happy Stamping!

Paper Pumpkin Cards

Hello everyone,

It's been so much fun playing with all the supplies I have from Stampin' Up! Let me show you the cards I made that came from the Paper Pumpkin box.   This is a monthly subscription that you can get from Stampin' Up!  It comes with all the things you need to make the cards (see my previous post).

The instructions are included as well.  There is also a postcard in the pamphlet on top that you can use to send to a customer or a friend that tells about the Paper Pumpkin subscription.  This helps with marketing on a whole new scale, doesn't it?

I did change the placement of the die cuts that were included, which the beauty of crafting with Stampin' Up!  When I decide to start doing classes (e.g. library or senior center), I'll enjoy using these samples and reminding the attendees to be creative on their own.

This was a lot of fun.  This is a great way for beginners to get their "craft" on.

Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Card Kit

 Hello everyone,

I made an order after submitting my starter kit order and one of the things I received was one of Stampin' Up!'s card kit:

This kit is amazing - it comes with directions and a sample of how you can produce the same card.  That's not all - you will receive everything to make the cards shown above.  How cool is that?

You want to know what's fun about these cards besides the cute card base and matching envelope - these are shaker cards!  Isn't that fun? And when I say that these cards are easy peasy, you would be so excited.  This is perfect for those who are just getting into stamping - it's so much fun.

Stay tuned - I'll show you samples of what I made from this kit.

My Stampin' Up! Starter Kit

 Hello everyone,

There are so many things that I love about Stampin' Up! products:

*Papers, ribbon and ink pads all match
*A great array of stamps, punches and other products to choose from
*Easy navigation on your own demonstrator page

I didn't choose holiday items because it's November and I wasn't sure if I would make any more cards for this holiday.  So, I chose fun things I knew I could use when making all sorts of paper crafts.  Check it out:

Look at all of those goodies - yummy.

I am going to take advantage of a fabulous sale in the next few days so that I can grab some of the papers that coordinate so well with one another.  Wait until you see the cards that I make with this.

Isn't it so exciting!

Stamping delight!
